1 Chronicles 2

These [are] the names of the sons of Israel;

ΤΑΥΤΑ τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ· Ῥουβήν, Συμεών, Λευί, ᾿Ιούδα, ᾿Ισσάχαρ, Ζαβουλών,

Ruben, Symeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, Zabulon, Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Nephthali, Gad, Aser.

Δάν, ᾿Ιωσήφ, Βενιαμίν, Νεφθαλί, Γάδ, ᾿Ασήρ.

The sons of Juda; Er, Aunan, Selom. [These] three were born to him of the daughter of Sava the Chananitish woman: and Er, the first-born of Juda, [was] wicked before the Lord, and he slew him.

υἱοὶ ᾿Ιούδα· ῎Ηρ, Αὐνάν, Σηλώμ, τρεῖς ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτῷ ἐκ τῆς θυγατρὸς Σαύας τῆς Χανανίτιδος. καὶ ἦν ῍Ηρ ὁ πρωτότοκος ᾿Ιούδα πονηρὸς ἐναντίον Κυρίου, καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτόν.

And Thamar his daughter-in-law bore to him Phares, and Zara: all the sons of Juda [were] five.

καὶ Θάμαρ ἡ νύμφη αὐτοῦ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Φαρὲς καὶ τὸν Ζαρά. πάντες υἱοὶ ᾿Ιούδα πέντε.

The sons of Phares, Esrom, and Jemuel.

υἱοὶ Φαρές· ᾿Εσρὼμ καὶ ᾿Ιεμουήλ.

And the sons of Zara, Zambri, and Aetham, and Aemuan, and Calchal, and Darad, [in] all five.

καὶ υἱοὶ Ζαρά· Ζαμβρὶ καὶ Αἰθὰν καὶ Αἰμὰν καὶ Καλχὰλ καὶ Δαράδ, πάντες πέντε.

And the sons of Charmi; Achar the troubler of Israel, who was disobedient in the accursed thing.

καὶ υἱοὶ Χαρμί· ῎Αχαρ ὁ ἐμποδοστάτης ᾿Ισραήλ, ὃς ἠθέτησεν εἰς τὸ ἀνάθεμα.

And the sons of Aetham; Azarias,

καὶ υἱοὶ Αἰθάν, ᾿Αζαρίας.

and the sons of Esrom who were born to him; Jerameel, and Aram, and Chaleb.

καὶ υἱοὶ ᾿Εσρώμ, οἳ ἐτέχθησαν αὐτῷ· ὁ ῾Ιεραμεὴλ καὶ ὁ ᾿Αρὰμ καὶ ὁ Χαλέβ.

And Aram begot Aminadab, and Aminadab begot Naasson, chief of the house of Juda.

καὶ ᾿Αρὰμ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Αμιναδὰβ καὶ ᾿Αμιναδὰβ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ναασσὼν ἄρχοντα οἴκου ᾿Ιούδα,

And Naasson begot Salmon, and Salmon begot Booz,

καὶ Ναασσὼν ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαλμών, καὶ Σαλμὼν ἐγέννησε τὸν Βοόζ,

and Booz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jessae.

καὶ Βοὸζ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ωβήδ, καὶ ᾿Ωβὴδ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ιεσσαί,

And Jessae begot his first-born Eliab, Aminadab [was] the second, Samaa the third,

καὶ ᾿Ιεσσαὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν πρωτότοκον αὐτοῦ τὸν ᾿Ελιάβ· ᾿Αμιναδὰβ ὁ δεύτερος, Σαμαὰ ὁ τρίτος,

Nathanael the fourth, Zabdai he fifth,

Ναθαναὴλ ὁ τέταρτος, Ζαδδαΐ ὁ πέμπτος,

Asam the sixth, David the seventh.

᾿Ασὸμ ὁ ἕκτος, Δαυὶδ ὁ ἕβδομος,

And their sister [was] Saruia, and [another] Abigaia: and the sons of Saruia [were] Abisa, and Joab, and Asael, three.

καὶ ἡ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν Σαρουία καὶ ᾿Αβιγαία· καὶ υἱοὶ Σαρουία· ᾿Αβισὰ καὶ ᾿Ιωὰβ καὶ ᾿Ασαήλ, τρεῖς.

And Abigaia bore Amessab: and the father of Amessab [was] Jothor the Ismaelite.

καὶ ᾿Αβιγαία ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Αμεσσά· καὶ πατὴρ ᾿Αμεσσὰ ᾿Ιοθὸρ ὁ ᾿Ισμαηλίτης.

And Chaleb the son of Esrom took Gazuba to wife, and Jerioth: and these [were] her sons; Jasar, and Subab, and Ardon.

καὶ Χαλὲβ υἱὸς ᾿Εσρὼμ ἔλαβε τὴν Γαζουβὰ γυναῖκα καὶ τὴν ῾Ιεριώθ. καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ αὐτῆς· ᾿Ιασὰρ καὶ Σουβὰβ καὶ ᾿Ορνά.

And Gazuba died; and Chaleb took to himself Ephrath, and she bore to him Or.

καὶ ἀπέθανε Γαζουβά, καὶ ἔλαβεν ἑαυτῷ Χαλὲβ τὴν ᾿Εφράθ, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν ῎Ωρ·

And Or begot Uri, and Uri begot Beseleel.

καὶ ῍Ωρ ἐγέννησε τὸν Οὐρί, καὶ Οὐρὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν Βεσελεήλ.

And after this Esron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Galaad, and he took her when he was sixty-five years old; and she bore him Seruch.

καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσῆλθεν ᾿Εσρὼν πρὸς τὴν θυγατέρα Μαχὶρ πατρὸς Γαλαάδ, καὶ οὗτος ἔλαβεν αὐτήν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἑξηκονταπέντε ἐτῶν ἦν. καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Σερούχ.

And Seruch begot Jair, and he had twenty-three cities in Galaad.

καὶ Σεροὺχ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ιαΐρ. καὶ ἦσαν αὐτῷ εἴκοσι καὶ τρεῖς πόλεις ἐν τῇ Γαλαάδ.

And he took Gedsur and Aram, the towns of Jair from them; [with] Canath and its towns, sixty cities. All these [belonged to] the sons of Machir the father of Galaad.

καὶ ἔλαβε Γεδσοὺρ καὶ ᾿Αρὰμ τὰς κώμας ᾿Ιαΐρ ἐξ αὐτῶν, τὴν Κανὰθ καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς, ἑξήκοντα πόλεις· πᾶσαι αὗται υἱῶν Μαχὶρ πατρὸς Γαλαάδ.

And after the death of Esron, Chaleb came to Ephratha; and the wife of Esron [was] Abia; and she bore him Ascho the father of Thecoe.

καὶ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανεῖν ᾿Εσρὼν ἦλθε Χαλὲβ εἰς ᾿Εφραθά. καὶ ἡ γυνὴ ᾿Εσρὼν ᾿Αβιά, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν ᾿Ασχὼδ πατέρα Θεκωέ.

And the sons of Jerameel the first-born of Esron [were], the first-born Ram, and Banaa, and Aram, and Asan his brother.

καὶ ἦσαν οἱ υἱοὶ ῾Ιεραμεὴλ πρωτοτόκου ᾿Εσρών, ὁ πρωτότοκος Ῥάμ, καὶ Βαανὰ καὶ ᾿Αρὰν καὶ ᾿Ασὸμ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ.

And Jerameel had another wife, and her name [was] Atara: she is the mother of Ozom.

καὶ ἦν γυνὴ ἑτέρα τῷ ῾Ιεραμεήλ, καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῇ ᾿Ατάρα· αὕτη ἐστὶ μήτηρ ᾿Οζόμ.

And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerameel were Maas, and Jamin, and Acor.

καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ῥὰμ πρωτοτόκου ῾Ιεραμεήλ· Μαὰς καὶ ᾿Ιαμὶν καὶ ᾿Ακόρ.

And the sons of Ozom were, Samai, and Jadae: and the sons of Samai; Nadab, and Abisur.

καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ ᾿Οζόμ· Σαμαΐ καὶ ᾿Ιαδαέ. καὶ υἱοὶ Σαμαΐ· Ναδὰβ καὶ ᾿Αβισούρ.

And the name of the wife of Abisur [was] Abichaia, and she bore him Achabar, and Moel.

καὶ ὄνομα τῆς γυναικὸς ᾿Αβισοὺρ ᾿Αβιχαία, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν ᾿Αχαβὰρ καὶ τὸν Μωήλ.

And the sons of Nadab; Salad and Apphain; and Salad died without children.

καὶ υἱοὶ Ναδάβ· Σαλὰδ καὶ ᾿Απφαίν. καὶ ἀπέθανε Σαλὰδ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα.

And the sons of Apphain, Isemiel; and the sons of Isemiel, Sosan; and the sons of Sosan, Dadai.

καὶ υἱοὶ ᾿Απφαίν· ᾿Ισεμιήλ. καὶ υἱοὶ ᾿Ισεμιήλ· Σωσάν. καὶ υἱοὶ Σωσάν· ᾿Ααδαί.

And the sons of Dadai, Achisamas, Jether, Jonathan: and Jether died childless.

καὶ υἱοὶ ᾿Ααδαί· ᾿Αχισαμάς, ᾿Ιεθέρ, ᾿Ιωνάθαν· καὶ ἀπέθανεν ᾿Ιεθὲρ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα.

And the sons of Jonathan; Phaleth, and Hozam. These were the sons of Jerameel.

καὶ υἱοὶ ᾿Ιωνάθαν· Φαλὲδ καὶ ῾Οζάμ. οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ ῾Ιεραμεήλ.

And Sosan had no sons, but daughters. And Sosan had an Egyptian servant, and his name [was] Jochel.

καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν τῷ Σωσὰν υἱοί, ἀλλ᾿ ἢ θυγατέρες· καὶ τῷ Σωσὰν παῖς Αἰγύπτιος, καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῷ ᾿Ιωχήλ,

And Sosan gave his daughter to Jochel his servant to wife and she bore him Ethi.

καὶ ἔδωκε Σωσὰν τὴν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ τῷ ᾿Ιωχὴλ παιδὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς γυναῖκα, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν ᾿Εθθί.

And Ethi begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabed,

καὶ ᾿Εθθὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ναθάν, καὶ Ναθὰν ἐγέννησε τὸν Ζαβέδ,

and Zabed begot Aphamel, and Aphamel begot Obed.

καὶ Ζαβὲδ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Αφαμήλ, καὶ ᾿Αφαμὴλ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ωβήδ,

And Obed begot Jeu, and Jeu begot Azarias.

καὶ ᾿Ωβὴδ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ιηού, καὶ ᾿Ιηοὺ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Αζαρίαν,

And Azarias begot Chelles, and Chelles begot Eleasa,

καὶ ᾿Αζαρίας ἐγέννησε τὸν Χελλής, καὶ Χελλὴς ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ελεασά,

and Eleasa begot Sosomai, and Sosomai begot Salum,

καὶ ᾿Ελεασὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σοσομαΐ, καὶ Σοσομαΐ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαλούμ,

and Salum begot Jechemias, and Jechemias begot Elisama, and Elisama begot Ismael.

καὶ Σαλοὺμ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ιεχεμίαν, καὶ ᾿Ιεχεμίας ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ελισαμά, καὶ ᾿Ελισαμὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ισμαήλ.

And the sons of Chaleb the brother of Jerameel [were], Marisa his first-born, he [is] the father of Ziph:-- and the sons of Marisa the father of Chebron.

καὶ υἱοὶ Χαλὲβ ἀδελφοῦ ῾Ιεραμεήλ· Μαρισὰ ὁ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ, οὗτος πατὴρ Ζίφ· καὶ υἱοὶ Μαρισὰ πατρὸς Χεβρών.

And the sons of Chebron; Core, and Thapphus, and Recom, and Samaa.

καὶ υἱοὶ Χεβρών· Κορὲ καὶ Θαπφοὺς καὶ Ῥεκὸμ καὶ Σαμαά.

And Samaa begot Raem the father of Jeclan: and Jeclan begot Samai.

καὶ Σαμαὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ῥαὲμ πατέρα ᾿Ιεκλάν, καὶ ᾿Ιεκλὰν ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαμαΐ·

And his son [was] Maon: and Maon [is] the father of Baethsur.

καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Μαών, καὶ Μαὼν πατὴρ Βαιθσούρ.

And Gaepha the concubine of Chaleb bore Aram, and Mosa, and Gezue.

καὶ Γαιφὰ ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλὲβ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Αρρὰν καὶ τὸν Μωσὰ καὶ τὸν Γεζουέ.

And the sons of Addai [were] Ragem, and Joatham, and Sogar, and Phalec, and Gaepha, and Sagae.

καὶ υἱοὶ ᾿Αδδαΐ· Ῥαγὲμ καὶ ᾿Ιωάθαμ καὶ Σωγὰρ καὶ Φαλὲκ καὶ Γαιφὰ καὶ Σαγαέ.

And Chaleb’s concubine Mocha bore Saber, and Tharam.

καὶ ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλὲβ Μωχὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαβὲρ καὶ τὸν Θαράμ.

She bore also Sagae the father of Madmena, and Sau the father of Machabena, and the father of Gaebal: and the daughter of Chaleb [was] Ascha.

καὶ ἐγέννησε Σαγαὲ πατέρα Μαρμηνὰ καὶ τὸν Σαοὺ πατέρα Μαχαμηνὰ καὶ πατέρα Γαιβαά· καὶ θυγάτηρ Χαλὲβ ᾿Ασχά.

These were the sons of Chaleb: the sons of Or the first-born of Ephratha; Sobal the father of Cariathiarim,

οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Χαλέβ. υἱοὶ ῍Ωρ πρωτοτόκου ᾿Εφραθά· Σωβὰλ πατὴρ Καριαθιαρίμ.

Salomon the father of Baetha, Lammon the father of Baethalaem, and Arim the father of Bethgedor.

Σαλωμὼν πατὴρ Βαιθλαὲμ καὶ ᾿Αρὶμ πατὴρ Βαιθγεδώρ.

And the sons of Sobal the father of Cariathiarim were Araa, and Aesi, and Ammanith,

καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ τῷ Σωβὰλ πατρὶ Καριαθιαρίμ· ᾿Αραὰ καὶ Αἰσὶ καὶ ᾿Αμμανὶθ

and Umasphae, cities of Jair; Aethalim, and Miphithim, and Hesamathim, and Hemasaraim; from these went forth the Sarathaeans, and the sons of Esthaam.

καὶ Οὐμασφαέ, πόλις ᾿Ιαΐρ, Αἰθαλὶμ καὶ Μιφιθὶμ καὶ ῾Ησαμαθὶμ καὶ ῾Ημασαραΐμ· ἐκ τούτων ἐξήλθοσαν οἱ Σαραθαῖοι καὶ υἱοὶ ᾿Εσθαάμ.

The sons of Salomon; Baethalaem, the Netophathite, Ataroth of the house of Joab, and half of the family of Malathi, Esari.

υἱοὶ Σαλωμών· Βαιθλαέμ, Νετωφαθί, ᾿Αταρὼθ οἴκου ᾿Ιωὰβ καὶ ἥμισυ τῆς Μαλαθί, ᾿Ησαρί,

The families of the scribes dwelling in Jabis; Thargathiim, and Samathiim, and Sochathim, these [are] the Kinaeans that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

πατριαὶ γραμματέων κατοικοῦντες ἐν ᾿Ιάβις, Θαργαθιΐμ, Σαμαθιΐμ, καὶ Σωχαθίμ· οὗτοι οἱ Κιναῖοι οἱ ἐλθόντες ἐκ Μεσημὰ πατρὸς οἴκου Ῥηχάβ.
